Summary: Factors concerning the two major revolutions that this essay will focus on - namely, the French & Russian Civil War, and whether there is a pattern behind revolutions breaking out.
Is there a magic formula for revolutions to break out? After studying the two major revolutions in history, namely the French Revolution, 1789, and the Russian Revolution, Feb 1917, I believe that there are several factors which are the main cause of them. Before I start, let me explain what revolutions are.

According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, a revolution is a fundamental change in political organization; especially the overthrow or renunciation of one government or ruler and the substitution of another by the governed. With that, I shall now proceed with my reasoning.

As we know, the differences between the social hierarchies in both revolutions are very distinct, and the rich enjoyed many privileges that the poor are deprived of, for example, the so-called higher-class citizens have better job opportunities and some high-ranking jobs are even reserved for them; there were even shops which specially serve the higher-class citizens...
