Chariots of Fire is a movie based on the life of the two main characters, Harold Abrahm and Eric Liddell. Harold Abrahm is Jewish and is attending Cambridge University. He is very good and very passionate about running. Eric Liddell is from Scotland and is also very good at running. He is also very religious, and one day he wishes to become a missionary. Although they are different they both have a common goal. They want to win a gold medal at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games. They train for many months in preparation for this event, and their hard work pays off. They both achieve their goals and prove their points, although they had different motives they were united under this common goal and in doing so became friends in the process.
