Shabbat is the main religious festival for the Jews, which begins on a Friday sunset and lasts until Saturday night when the stars appear. Jews usually call it Shabbat or Shabbos. Shabbat is the weekly day of rest for every Jew and is a day which is very special and completely different from any other day. It is a very holy day for the Jews.
