The tale of Osiris, the God of the Underworld

Summary: The legend about how Osiris, a pharaoh of Egypt, was tricked by his jealous brother Seth, resulting in Osiris's death. According to legend, Osiris then became the "God of the Underworld."
Osiris, the God of the Underworld, was once a Pharaoh of Egypt. He brought wisdom and prosperity of the ancient Egypt. The thing he brought was the civilisation of Egypt in a gentle and non-violent manner. He taught them how to grow crops and how to harvest them. He taught Egypt about the Gods and made Egypt grow and prosper.

Osiris was a great Pharaoh and because of his wisdom and power, his brother Seth was extremely jealous. He wanted to be in his brother's position and vowed to don anything to get there. Seth hosted a party inviting all the Gods. He presented them with a wonderfully crafted gold and wooden chest and then presented them with a challenge. The challenge was that all the Gods had to lie inside the chest. The people who fitted the chest most accurately would be able to call the chest...
