Summary:   Statement of the agriculture, sports, language, and major indutries of Ireland.


The agriculture of Ireland was once great. There was plenty of land with somewhat good soil. Crops were grown every year. The most planted crop was the potato. However, the agriculture of Ireland was demolished by Industry and services. Agriculture - products: turnips, barley, potatoes, sugar beets, wheat & beef, dairy products.

The most important industry Ireland has to help it grow is exports. Ireland has also benefited from a raise in consumer spending, construction, and business investment. Industries they have are: food products, brewing, textiles, clothing & chemicals, pharmaceuticals, machinery, transportation equipment, glass and crystal & software.

In Ireland, people are mostly Roman Catholic. Actually, 91.6% are Roman Catholic, 2.5% belong to the Church of Ireland, and 5.9% are other religions. The Church of Ireland was started in the year 461 C.E. St. Patrick is believed.....
