Summary: A review of the movie "Cast Away," starring Tom Hanks. The convincing characters, special effects, and the overall progression of the movie and of the main character maintains one's interest throughout the movie.
The movie Cast Away by Robert Zemeckis is a very passionate and interesting movie. The special effects are very real, how the man feels about everything he does and does not do is real, all in all this movie is very convincing. There are thing I disliked about the movie but over all there are more things that I liked about it. Things I liked were how convincing the character was, the special effects, and how the movie was always interesting.

Tom Hanks plays Chuck Noland in this movie. Chuck Noland is a fed-ex man and while on a plane to deliver something to someone his plane crashes. Chuck is then forced to live on an island alone for four years. Tom Hanks is very convincing in this role because it is almost as if he became the character.
