"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" -Eleanor Roosevelt

This is a great quote, I feel that is more of a self motivation thing, but I do not believe that this is true. Different agents of socialization and Cooley's Looking Glass Theory could contradict this quote.

Family is a very important thing, although family can make a person feel inferior whether they meant to do it or not. When a person is born their family helps develop their morals. A family teaches what is wrong, what is right, and basically how someone should live their life. Now a person isn't always physically, or mentally able to meet the expectations of their family.
