Plot Summary and Review of "Die Hard"

Summary:   A plot summary and review of the hit '80s action movie "Die Hard." The story is about a NYPD poclieman who unintentionally gets involved in a spectacular robbery plot in a 40-story building.


Over the years I've seen many films, with famous action movie stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, but very few action films have had such an impact on me like Die Hard. Bruce Willis gives one of the best performances of his film career to date. This is quite simply, one of the best action films of all time.

Willis plays an NYPD cop John McClane, who has arrived in LA to be with his estranged wife Holly

(Bonnie Bedelia) and their children for Christmas dinner. To the best of my knowledge, Die Hard is the only action film set in Christmas. I believe that this makes Die Hard rather unique in the action film genre, but even though the seasonal setting does nothing but detract from the action, Die Hard is still a gripping film to.....
