Can you believe that the war with the most casualties in American history occurred on our soil against our own people? It was so bad that people were fighting against their own relatives. Sectionalism had taken its finest course spreading bloodshed among our grounds between the North and the South. Out of the middle of this conflict, known as the American Civil War, came a truly amazing man in which was a general of the Confederate side. Due to his amazing character as an individual, even his enemies admired his qualities and his superior abilities. Even some of the most vicious critics could not find anything that would ever sway their opinion about him.
