Good day to all. I stand here today, taking the side of Louis Riel, to express my ideas, views, and options about the charges placed on this man who is a "threat" we are all aware of.

Despite the controversy surrounding Louis Riel and the dispute that has arisen because of him, it is believed that he is the true hero and savior of the Métis people, and a model for other oppressed aboriginal people. Louis Riel left his mark in the history of the Dominion of Canada. The voice piece of the Métis people, both an eloquent spokesman for their aspirations, and a man who has compassion, Riel is the voice of the Métis people, and is largely responsible for the entrance of the province of Manitoba into Confederation. However, many empty-headed and prejudicial.....
