Summary: If you read Mark Falstein's book, Black Americans from Africa to the 80's, you will learn all about racism. This story is a very heartrending one at that. It's all about the blacks that came from Africa to the America's. It takes place in the 1600's to the present time.
Is it right that your social status and well being is based on the color of your skin? Is it right to have such horrendous racism in our lives? If you read Mark Falstein's book, Black Americans from Africa to the 80's, you will learn all about racism. This story is a very heartrending one at that. It's all about the blacks that came from Africa to the America's. It takes place in the 1600's to the present time. This story may be very depressing, but yet at the same time very informative. It teaches of how the blacks were very wrongly treated and how they had to fight for their freedom. Although, they were eventually freed, Blacks weren't treated equally after.

"They turned loose like a bunch of stray dogs," one ex-slave said, "No homes, no clothing; no nothing...all we had to form with were sharp...
