Essay on Christianity and Islam
Christianity was new and different from other religions. It was appealing because it had no real strict rules, it had a high status in society, and a belief in miracles. These also helped to spread it and make a success.
Judaism had strict rules when it came to dieting and such. Hinduism had a caste system. Christianity had things such as the Ten Commandments, but they also believed that people are sinners and God would forgive them. It is a lot easier to believe, but have a little freedom, than to be confined to something and fear breaking it.
As Christianity spread, kings took it up and it started to have political power. Once it became part of the monarchy, it had to be taken up. Then people started to accept it. Especially if before there was not much religion. Having religion gave the kings more of a...
