"father Always Knows Best"
In To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, Atticus Finch doesn't just play a lawyer, but he plays a father. In his role he is a huge role model and even hero to some. His relationship to Scout and Jem is like no other father child relationship in Maycomb County. He is a hard-working lawyer that has lost his wife, and who loves and gives anything for his two children. He isn't perfect, but no man or father is.
Atticus has positive qualities, like knowing what to say and expose his children to. He is a courageous and brave man and tries to teach his children to be that way. Atticus is well respected in all of Maycomb, unlike some other townsmen. He doesn't let comment that people say about him or to Scout get to him, such as when...
