Summary:  

Lady Macbeth, seemingly in control of her destiny, has her life unravel as the plot of William Shakespeare's "Macbeth" evolves. Her drive for power is her undoing, as it leads to her ruminations on the pointlessness of life and, ultimately, her death.

What is ambition? The Webster dictionary defines ambition as an eager and sometimes inordinate desire after honor, power, fame, or whatever confers distinction. In the book Macbeth, a woman by the name Lady Macbeth brings about her own down fall because of her own ambition and hubris. The play Macbeth by William Shakespeare is about a character named Macbeth who is a respectful and loyal towards the king till one day his wife Lady Macbeth corrupts his mind. From the beginning of the play to the tragic ending of it Lady Macbeth changes throughout the course of the play. In the beginning of the play Lady Macbeth comes up with the plan to kill the king and tells Macbeth what to do. Towards the middle of the play Lady Macbeth starts to lie to the people.....
