The Sand Castle: A Review

Summary: Provides a brief review of The Sand Castle, by Alma Luz Villanueva. Describes the two main points tmade regarding global warming.
The story The Sand Castle by Alma Luz Villanueva is a story based probably in the future because it talks about the hearth being affected by the sun in a very bad way. In one situation it talks about how the family goes to the sea to have fun. But when they go to the beach they have to wear different layers of clothes and has to wear these protective goggle that cover most of their face. They had to this because the sun was destroying everything thing it touched. I think that this might happen in the future because of global warming. Also because the O zone layer might be depleting and letting the rays of the sun go through to us too much.

Another thing that they talked about in the story was how all the people use solar power and only used transportation when it was really needed, and that the people were going out a night since it was easier to move around without all of the layers of clothes. I think that this might happen because I saw in the internet somewhere that there was a solar powered car being made. Another thing is that the people might be most active at night in the future because of the sun being so hot.
