Dogs are the Best Pets

Summary:   The different tasks dogs can be trained to do.


Dogs are friendly, loyal house pets. They are intelligent so they can provide services to people, such as working with police officers at airports searching bags for bombs and illegal drugs. Moreover, dogs can assist firefighters by sniffing out people trapped under rubble or those hidden behind flames of a fire. Dogs work as guards protecting families and their most valuable belongings. Many disabled people live with trained dogs. These animals are versatile, intelligent and loyal. By far, dogs are more superior pets than any other pet.

I would consider dogs as great family pets. They do many great things for us, one as being great family pets. They make great companions; they are very loyal, loving and friendly animals. They can be considered as therapy dogs for those who lost a family member or loved one. A dog can make a person feel secure and loved. A pet dog is a great playmate. If running is your hobby, a dog is probably your favorite pet. Dogs enjoy the simple things in life.

In addition to being great pets, dogs are very smart animals, and can learn to complete many tasks. A dog can be taught to perform tricks such as sitting, fetching, and playing dead. We find this way of performing tricks as entertainment. This is not the only entertainment dogs can provide. Dog play heroic characters in many movies; for example there are no Lassie or Snoopy cats. However dogs are heroic in real life as well as on the screen. They work at airports with policemen searching luggage for bombs and illegal drugs. They find bombs and warn the people around them. They bravely serve along side the firefighters often pulling people out of flames. Dogs' ability to learn has also proven to be most useful for people with disabilities. Dogs can guide a blind person through challenging crossroads.

Dogs are great pets; they are more superior to any other pet. Dogs are friendly, loyal house pets; these characteristics make a dog a great companions. A dog will always be there for you when your friends are not. Moreover, dogs can also provide services to people, such as working with police officers at airports searching bags for bombs and illegal drugs.
