The Life of Kurt Cobain

Summary: Explores the life and death of musician and former Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain. Discusses Cobain's musical career and the events leading up to his suicide.

Murders and suicides are investigated throughout the world everyday, but few compare to the unsolved case of Kurt Cobain's death. Kurt Cobain was born on February 20th, 1967 (Ronson 1). Kurt led a rough childhood and was shuffled between relatives much of his life (Ronson 1). He formed a series of bands while in high school and throughout his teenage life. He formed Nirvana in 1986 and was on his way to rock and roll stardom (Ronson 1). The band went through many changes as did Kurt. In the early nineties, Kurt fell into a serious drug addiction and was soon a hardcore heroin addict (Ronson 2). Growing up in a small town, with divorced parents and a rough childhood, Kurt Cobain led a life of drug addictions and rock stardom, which eventually lead to his still questionable death.
