Keratoconus: An Eye Disease that Effects Your Eyesight

Keratoconus is a eye disease which affects your ability to see and affects simple tasks like driving, watching TV, or even reading a book. This disease has no known cure and nobody knows why it is caused. At first you don't realize you have it because it starts off with nearsightness and astigmatism. This disease mostly starts in the teenage years. Mostly around fifteen of sixteen but I got it when I was 14. when you get it it could happen very rapidly or take many years to develop.
Keratoconus is a non-inflammatory, self-limiting ectasia . What it is is it is the thinning and steepening of the of the center of the cornea. As this happens whoever has this disease experiences either a sever or mild which depends on the amount of corneal tissue which is affected.
Most of the time vision loss can be corrected with glasses but...
