All humans need water. Not just humans need it; all living things such as plants need it as well. A basic thing we need water for is to stay alive and to prevent dehydration. We also use it for showering, bathing, swimming, washing dishes, washing hands; faces, brushing teeth, watering flowers; gardens; lawns, laundry washing, cooking, flushing toilets and other things. Water is important on dry land as well as in aquatic. It's obviously clear why it's needed on dry land and it isn't just needed in aquatic life just because of the animals.
