Technology is a word that is often associated with progression and it seems taken for granted that moving forward and the technological age is a positive thing. However, what people tend to over look or perhaps ignore are the negative aspects of technology. After exploring issues that surround the telephone it became abundantly clear that implementing the latest technological development does not necessarily coincide with what is best for society. Nevertheless as a society we are always encouraged to believe that faster, more advanced and higher tech will be beneficial to us in some way; and it has been in many respects as Alexander Gram Bell demonstrated to the world in 1867. The telephone has made communication so incredibly easy, which in turn has made peoples lives more so.
