Summary: Tests in school are important because they gauge students' progress in learning.
Taking Tests

Taking tests in life is extremely important. Without tests, you would not know how you were doing in school and whether or not you have to improve in your studies. You could be maintaining a sixty average and not know it until you receive your report card. Your life would be ruined without tests. Children should definitely have to take tests because without tests you would not be able to work to your full potential.

One important reason why tests are needed is because tests set standards for students. Without standards, students would not know how good to be. Once again, a student may have a 60 average and think that that is good. You could almost say that standards make the world go around because, not only do standards apply to school but also, in life they are all over the place.
