Premarital teenage sex is a growing problem in the United States. More and more teenagers are starting to have sex everyday. Premarital teenage sex is also affecting girls and boys at younger ages each year. Some of the things premarital teenage sex can lead to are STDs, teenage pregnancy, and stress.

The effects of STDs are usually permanently life altering. The most common disease you can get from sex is Human Papal Loma Virus or Genital Warts, which can cause cervical or penile cancer and genital pain. One of the most commonly reported STDs is Gonorrhea. 40% of victims of Gonorrhea can contract PID if it is not treated. The most known about and fatal STD is HIV/AIDS which can be contracted from sex or drug use and is very fatal.

Teenage pregnancy is a growing problem in the U.S. About 850,000 teenage girls become pregnant each year. Teenage pregnancy can end up leading to lots of other problems for the young girls. One of these problems is the teenage mother dropping out of school and not only ruining her future but the future of her child also.

Lastly premarital teenage sex can lead to stress and pressure for both girls and boys. Boys often get pressured into having sex at early ages by their peers, and if they do not do it then they can be ridiculed which causes stress. Girls at young ages are usually pressured by guys or even girls to have sex, and if they will not then guys will not talk to them which can cause girls to worry about themselves and cause extreme depression. When girls and boys give into the pressure from the peers its can cause them to have premarital teenage sex, and as a result one could have much more serious problems.

In conclusion, premarital sex can lead to STDs, teenage pregnancy, and stress. This irresponsible decision is not worth the possible consequences. It is so easy to ruin ones future by making the decision to have premarital sex.
