Types of Story Telling

Summary:   We have been compelled to tell stories since the beginning of time. Humans created stories for many purposes. The allegory makes us ponder after it is told, the parable teaches spiritual people about the word of God and the contemporary short story deals with social issues which might help us to deal with our problems.


Types of Story-Telling

We, as humans, have been compelled to tell stories since the beginning of time. Stories

can make us ponder after it is told, they can teach spiritual people about the word of

God and they can deal with social issues.

The allegory is a symbolic story that series as a disguised representation. It makes us

ponder after it's told. The story,"Allegory of the Cave" by Plato, is happening in the cave

and in the outdoors. The people in there are chained and it's dark but a person escapes

and sees the outside. He becomes amazed, he doesn't want to return to the cave because

he doesn't want to lose the chance of seeing the beautiful and mysterious things in the

world. People who experience something new for the first time, don't want to stop, they.....
