To be educated and being able to prosper in life is the number one goal to most individuals. In every country it is a benefit to go to school and to be enlightened by the wise. But of course every country has their own system of educating their children. Are some of these learning systems more effective than others? Today there is much concern that the American education system is not as high as the standards of countries in Asia such as Japan. The American educational system has more freedom within itself, while the Asian educational system is more of a conformity. Both the American and Asian systems behold its strengths and weaknesses.
