Cultural Diffusion

Summary:   Cultural diffusion is the spreading of cultural trait from one society to another. Both Japan and China spread their personal ideas, dreams of material objects, and behavioral patterns, to each other and to other cultures.


Many years ago, cultural diffusion of the cultures of Japan and China affected each other in many ways. Cultural diffusion is the spreading of cultural trait from one society to another. Both Japan and China spread their personal ideas, dreams of material objects, and behavioral patterns, to each other and to other cultures, over a number of years. Not only did Japan influence China, and vice-versa, but they both equally influenced Europe and were influenced by Korea in some events as well.

Japan was greatly influenced by cultural diffusion and also influenced other cultures in its process. They spread their known importance of clans and worshiping ancestors to other leading nations and throughout the archipelago in which Japan was located. They eventually made Shintoism a form of "religion", along with Buddhism and Confucianism, which were once.....
