Modern Day Contradictions in the Bible

In today's society, homosexuality is not considered normal. In fact many people believe that it is a sin, and that God condemns homosexuals to hell. To defend this view, people cite many passages from the Bible, using specific examples from the books Leviticus, Romans, and Corinthians, which make specific references to homosexuality as a sin that is punishable by death. These books cite many other sins that people do not consider as bad and therefore do not feel the need to create a constitutional amendment banning them. Consequently people feel they have the right to decide the severity of each sin and whether to condemn it or not, which is ironic.
