Over the summer I read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. The story expressed the strength of true love; it taught me how nothing can come between two people so utterly in love. The two main characters, Allie Nelson, and Noah Calhoun were able to overcome all obstacles and expectations from those around them. No matter what true love always conquered all.

The Notebook was about a boy named Noah Calhoun, and a girl named Allie Nelson. At age fifteen, the two fell madly in love with each other over the course of one summer. Finally, the dreaded end of the summer arrived and Allie needed to leave New Bern with her parents. They promised nothing would ever come between them, but they didn't know how hard it would be.
