The Treaty of Versailles. Who was at Fault?

Summary: How the United States tried to join the League of Nations through the Treaty of Versailles, but the lack of effort and political blunders by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson made destroyed America's hopes for world peace.
After World War One, the Treaty of Versailles was set to end fighting and create peace midst the weary nations. This treaty put Wilson's dream into perspective and he attempted to create the League of Nations. Lodge, however, knew that if the league was created new problems could arise and destroy the United States, and all that we have achieved over the years. Wilson's plan was to just enter the league with no ratification, but without ratification the US could of ended up involving themselves in affairs that we had no business being in. This made the US population think and demanded changes in the treaty before it was ratified. Wilson's personal issues and political blunders are what led to the downfall of the League of Nations and he is why the league was never ratified in the United States of America.
