Summary:
Examples of how people can be cruel to animals.
It's amazing how some people can be so cruel to Gods creatures. For example, Ashley Moan, 19, admitted to neglecting her 19-year-old puppy, named Sweep. She starved it until it weighed just 2.45 kg, and the vet could close their fingers on one hand around her stomach. The vet also said that Sweep was emaciated, dehydrated, and her coat was flat and dull.
Battery hens are hens which are in a wired cage with a steep, sloped floor, no bigger then an A4 sheet of paper. The floor is sloped for easy access to the eggs the hens are forced to lay. They are also in their cage with 3 or 4 other hens. They are debeaked to avoid cannibalism, and there is not even enough room for the hens to exercise or even stretch their wings. This causes the hens to become frustrated and break bones, as well as become mentally ill. The hens are debeaked when they are only 1-10 days old. The pain is excruciating and some hens even die from the shock. The pain is caused by a sensitive nerve in the beak which is exposed when the hen is debeaked.
A 10 year old boy is in the juvenile justice system for throwing helpless, innocent, and tiny kittens against a brick wall. The only reason for this was for entertainment.
Another man has been fined $5,500 for animal cruelty. He had a little white puppy, which was only 11 weeks old.
He first grabbed it by the hair and threw it to the ground. He then bashed it on the several times with a hoe. The helpless puppy tried to escape many times, but was just dragged back. This went on for 10 minutes before someone decided to step in and put a stop to it.
Bellevue's Joyce Hunstad was recently arrested after her neighbours smelt a fowl smell coming from her house. They called the police to investigate and the police found seven dead cats and 1 dead dog, hidden in a pile of flea-infested rubbish.
And if that wasn't enough, get this. Someone unnamed purposely mutilated three rabbits and then set their cage on fire.
The RSPCA has a code which says that no animal from any shelter whatsoever may be used in animal experimentation.
What happened to the days of Noahs Ark? Where people cared about animal rights. When there was a flood, Noah built an ark to protect these beautiful creatures. Why can't these be so now"
Why anyone would do these types of things we don't know. But
anyone who dares to do these will suffer a very serious penalty from either the RSPCA or the judge or even both.
