Book Review of "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Summary:   The classic novel, "To Kill a Mockingbird" has multiple layers of themes that are described in the essay along with a description of major characters.


The novel, "To Kill a Mockingbird," is set in the 1930's when segregation and racism was still a big issue. In the novel, most of the white men hated the blacks but had no reason to. Many people feared somebody, but didn't know why. Much judgment was going on because nobody understood anyone else, and as a result of that, they treated people different then him or her badly. The people judged others by the color of their skin because they feared and didn't know how to treat them fairly. "To Kill a Mockingbird," describes the life of a man who faced others fears and lack of understanding and treated the African Americans and the white people equally.
