American Freedom

Summary: America is really not such a free nation, and most citizens are not free. Most are not free form debt. Most are not free to obtain the best education possible without having money or going into debt. We are not free to keep our money. We must pay taxes. We are not free to be who we want. Racism still exists.
America is considered a free country by millions of people worldwide. But what does it really mean? We don't have people skipping around in flowery fields singing about how happy they are to be free. We don't let prisoners out saying "you won't do it again, I trust you, now go enjoy your freedom." We don't give away things for free to other people. Then what is it that makes our country so "free"? I think America is far away from being free, and I think it's a shame how selfish and not caring many of us may be.

Over half of the people in America are in debt. It's really difficult not to be in debt considering that just to go to school and to get an opportunity to make ANY money, you need to pay more money than you would spend on a small apartment. And...
