Summary: This essay compares the cultures of the North American Indians and the Chinese during the Middle Ages. Both cultures, once inventive and ambitious, eventually settled for mediocrity.
American Indians and the Asians

The North American Indians and the Chinese were advancing towards modernization and then they stopped. Both nations for different reasons lost their incentive to be inventive. The North Americans Indians and the Chinese were far ahead of there time but both came to a halt and settled for adequate instead of greatness.

During the Middle Ages China was the main example of what Asia was like. China was well advanced and 500 years ahead of Europe. China was a wealthy nation, the first to use paper money by developing a credit system. Kablai Khan organized the mongles and came together as a Nation State and took over the very top rulers of China. China was very authoritative and thus was able to keep running as if nothing had happened.
