They said Psycho was Hitchcock's ultimate achievement because of its way that changed the world of film industry and by breaking the rules set out for films, e.g. showing sexual content between Men and Women (not fully) which those days were seen as pornography and very unpleasant to view in a cinema where people did not aspect to see those kinds of viewing.

Secretary Marion Crane one day finds her unable to resist $40,000 of her boss's money and decides to steal it for love. Ignoring the urge to flee straight to her lover she drives into the night. Looking for a place to rest she comes across the sinister Bates Motel but decides it is so secluded that her presence there will not be noticed by the authorities.
