Us of a Econ

Summary:   Economics may be the future cornerstone upon which we rely, even in terms of setting our personal values and mores. Power, family life, education and social conscious may all one day be based on economics.

One thing that is very important to me not only when applied to my life but also when looking at the future is the economy of this country and it's processes. The economy of today is a very special and intricate thing. We use it for many different things such as in everyday life for buying and selling and providing for our families. But the system is not that simple. With learning not only about supply and demand, or buying and selling, comes a higher perspective on society. This is the glue in our world. Economy decides who can get ahead and who will get left behind. Those who work hard and strive to become better will be better.

In the next twenty years my generation will be growing up and going through school, maturing and getting jobs. There are many trials that we will face such as the overbearing "power" of our parents. I guess you could say my generation is just the same as other ones because every teen tries to rebel. Although we are the same in the mindset of breaking away from parental bonds, I think it is time for our generation to become extremely different. No more pot-smoking, lazy kids. I believe that soon teens will realize what's up and take some action.

With the upcoming problems that may occur thanks to terrorists and war-hungry insanists, this generation will have to worry about not having a job or being drafted. In the workforce, people are developing new technology everyday and expanding our world to its fullest. With the two ideas in hand, what should we do? Go to a remote part of the world where nobody will see us? No, we will have to face problems and hardship in our life just like any other generation. So in reality, it doesn't matter what hardships will or could face because their out there for everyone.

What is the role of Education? The more education you complete, the higher paid you are. You know why that is? Because the higher you go into schooling the harder it is for people to "stick with it." It's harder to study and work harder, but we do it because we are aware of what it can and will do in our lives. Just like what I have come to find out with my violin. Practicing is not that fun in fact it used to be the most boring thing on the planet. But now that I am old enough to appreciate it, I love it and once you get past the feeling of boredom, just like with school, you will be proud of it. People need to figure it out that school is not a bad and "un-cool" thing to do with your time. School may get boring or tough but they just need to figure out that once you get past it then it will be a part of you and you will be happy with yourself.

I have learned for myself, that to get what you want, like grades, you have to do your best. Without our economy to be able to reward the hard-working people with a little extra sometimes, I wouldn't appreciate the system that we have. I believe that supply and demand will help to shape the world and also act as a safety net for all people. I am happy for a society with rules and regulations. The economy is very interesting to me because I feel it is part of owning a business which is what I want eventually. For the future, I will be more ready for what comes my way. I will always value my education and be grateful for the things that make me stronger.
