Drinking Age Law in Canada: Increase or Reduce?
There has been number of arguments, either to increase the drinking age law to twenty-one or to reduce it to eighteen. The provinces such as Nova Scotia and Quebec have had already set the drinking age to eighteen. Why not unite the drinking law as a nation? The opposition would argue that the age eighteen is not a big of a number to be mature and responsible, and that they will cause trouble, such as, in drinking and driving. However, this argument can be countered by the points; they are already considered responsible, even by the law, and considered independent after having their eighteenth birthday. Moreover, increasing the drinking age may cause a dilemma in social relations. Due to the various reasons, the legal drinking age shouldn't rise; instead, it should be reduced to 18.
