When I first received this assignment, I rolled my eyes as usual to all major projects we are assigned. However, as I began to research it, it started to have an emotional impact on a much more personal level. The remarkable late President Mr. John F. Kennedy once said, "ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." Remembering this quote and the significance of when and why it was said, I knew it summed up everything I could possibly try to express in this speech. Our war veterans have taken this decree and carried it to an entire new level of patriotism. A veteran is a person who has served for any war in supporting their country.
