It's was known in the history that southeast Asia were labeled as the "golden land", by early India civilization - "survanabhumi", especially in Malaya (now known as Malaysia).

Britain, Spain and Portugal were known for its strong military, supreme-ruling politics system and great empire throughout the world in the 17th till 20th century. The urbanization progresses in fast paces had cause the agricultural revolution and the industrial revolution. As a result of these revolutions, empires like Great Britain had to find for land which were beneficial to them, such as gold, tine and others.

To make sure their economy stability in Malaya, the British government had to control the politic system. At the moment, the kings of Malaya states did not play their role as a leader of the Origins. instead, they were being enticed by the luxury material offered by the British. in the end, British took the opportunity to sign agreements with the sultans and kings. Subsequently, Malaya felt into the hand of the mighty conqueror of time.

The economy exploitation started taken place when the British mining company extent the mining industry by introducing mining machine. the Chinese, which were brought in by Long Jaafar in the Perak state was no longer the sole winner. As time flied, the Chinese became inactive in this Industry because the British had more human power, financial support and modern technology. Although expostulations took place in places like Taiping and Ipoh, it was no use because no one would dared to go against the British law.

Sooner, British began introducing the so-called "land order" to prevent the Malays from selling their land to other investors like France and United States. It was stated in the record that the purpose of submitting this consensus is to protect the people's right from being intruded by hypocrite opportunist. but the scene behind the "story" is to make use of the people's land to cultivate plantations like rubber tree and palm tree.

Bank had became the bridge that connects British and the local investors. It eased the process of handling the modal of investment. Besides, compradors had been a great help to promote the investment in Malaya. In the other hand, the Malay who wish to be involved in commercial economy, they had to settle it with the usurers which charged them at a high interest as they hoped to control the Malay's economy so that they will remain in self-survive economy. The purpose of refraining Malay from getting into commercial world is the British investors target the possibility of earning maximum profit rather than competing with others. Well, it's another form of financial stability.

Although the presence of the British government seems to be causing an adverse influence on the local Malaya economy, Malaya was able to reap the fruit of success at this time. It is good to express our gratitude to those who try to help in the economy growth in Malaya. Let bygones be bygones because way ahead in our future, Malaysia and British shall maintain the close economy relationship and business partnership.
