Celebrating Our Veterans

Summary: As the years go by, we lose more and more of our older veterans. And some of them probably rarely hear a "thank you" from their fellow countrymen. This differs in reasons why they did not hear these two words.
Albert Einstein once said, "So long as there are men there will be wars." This means there are valiant people who should be honored for their time and lives they gave in war. But who are these veterans? Are they just the people who fought in foreign countries or are they the families who lost their loved ones? They are all the families and soldiers that supported the efforts during their wartime. People showed their support in different ways. Donating money to the soldiers or wearing US army bumper stickers are ways they supported their fellow country men. A problem we have is that sometimes we only give credit to some of our veterans. Even in World War II, many women gave up luxuries such as shower caps and other rubber items in their household so that the army could continue their efforts in the war.
