Essay | Anti-Smoking Laws in Quebec

Are you tired of people getting lung cancer when they haven't touched a cigarette in their life but they still get it because of second hand smoke? The Quebec government has passed bill 112 which states no smoking in any public spaces. In 2006 the bill will be put into effect and most are glad to hear this even if they think this law should have been passed earlier like in other provinces around Canada. Many people who have kids are happy because this law reduces second hand smoke to their children and everyone else around.

Over 50 000 Quebecer's last year died of lung cancer that was caused by second hand smoke. These people never smoked once in their life but because of second hand smoke every time they went to a restaurant or were waiting in public area's they got smoke blown in their face and that matter...
