Romeo & Juliet

Summary: The many different types of love depicted in Romeo and Juliet are shared between several of the characters. It would be impossible to live life without love and in this play love is all around, whether it's romance, friendship, or simply the love of a family member.
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is about two children who fall head over heals for each other the first time they meet. However, they cannot openly express their affection for one another due to the fact that they are from two opposing families. The secret marriage between them caused more struggle than happiness. Oddly enough, in the end, it was their marriage that resolved the ongoing feud between their families. Love plays a huge role in this play and comes in many types, shapes, and forms which are all expressed in this tragedy, Romeo and Juliet.
