A Biography of John Adams, the Second U.S. President

Summary:   A biography of John Adams, who was the second president of the United States. Facts about his childhood, political career, and family life are included.


John Adams was born on October 30, 1735 in Braintree, Massachusetts. He served as the second president of the United States. Before serving as the second president he served as a lawyer and slowly kept becoming more involved in politics leading to his place as president. Many different historic events happened to Adams in order to gain his place in history. What could have been an everyday school teaching townie turned into one of the first presidents of the United States of America.

As a child growing up Adams was given a lot of freedom. He lived on a farm with his family and did not have any aspirations for learning and he loved the outdoors. When he was a child he thought he was just going to be a farmer like his father. His father was.....
