Gibran is saying that love takes time to call "love" and you have to catch that moment to be in love.

When they start living together they get to know each other more and they start fighting and problems start. At the end, they decide to get divorced because they realize they don't get along and cant be together anymore. The media frequently reports that 50% of American marriages will end in divorce. Love is interpreted differently from everyone's point of view. I believe that once you see someone or get to know a person you can tell you are in love. Love doesn't always have to be a positive thing. Love brings everything in your life; happiness, money, family and friends. It puts everything in perspective.
