Summary:   An experiment with rennin, milk and temperature to determine how temperature affects the rate at which rennin clots milk.

To investigate the effect of Temperature on the reaction between Rennin and milk.

In this investigation, I am trying to find out how temperature affects the rate at which Rennin clots milk. To do this I shall place a predetermined amount of Rennin into a boiling tube containing milk. I shall repeat this several times, each boiling tube at different temperatures and each time recording the time taken to clot. I will record the results both in a table and in a graph to give a clear view of the results.

I expect that when the temperature is lower than thirty seven degrees, the rate will be slow, gradually increasing as the temperature nears Rennin's optimum. Higher temperatures than the optimum will give a slower rate, decreasing the further from the optimum it goes. At a.....
