Summary:   A description of a quintissential American.


When many people think of America they first think about the founding fathers, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, etc., although these men created the rules on which our society stands there is at least one man who stands as a better example of what America is really all about. Hunter S. Thompson is widely renowned for being nothing but a simple drugged out hippie, but under closer examination (as is with most people) it is obvious that he is much more than how he is portrayed by the majority of the media. Over the past two-hundred or so years if there was one word that could be used to sum up America as a whole it would most likely be "freedom", freedom is the base on which this country was built, and if this is true than.....
