The story started out with Eddie, the main character, saving a girl from an accident. Eddie realized he ended up in heaven, but heaven didn't appear the way he thought it would be. Five people greet him one at a time, teach him different lessons, and make him understand why some events happened in his life.
The first person is a blue man whose skin turned blue from poison. Eddie barely recognized him as a person displayed at the circus.
