Despite that event, Los Angeles is a popular city just as well as New York; they have many similarities and differences based on topics like location, population, climate, history, and activities.

New York City is located in New York State; it lies on the Hudson River, and has a population of 18 million people. Los Angeles is located in California with a population of 3.5 million people. These two cities are on opposite coasts, New York is on the east and Los Angeles is on the west, with that fact it's obvious that these cities have different temperatures.
