With life in this form, everyone is able to create a certain harmony between them, except for those that choose not to believe in combined races. In the novel, Snow Falling on Cedars, by David Guterson, many examples of racism are evident. A combination of a vicious trial and a forbidden love story, this novel depicts the true capabilities of what hate towards ones race is capable of.
