Summary:   Describes the experience of playing quarterback on a 7th grade football team.


It is going to be the best football season ever, even though I am not going to be playing quarterback. I am Jacob Croft and I am thirteen years old. My best friend is Michael Jackson and we both have been next-door neighbors since eight years. Sometimes I feel like we are really related. We both are average seventh graders, study at Franklin Middle School in Roughsboro, Maine, and we live at Liverpool St.

Football has been our favorite game ever since we were six years old. Michael and I used to watch television and see the New England Sharks win with Larry Brady as their quarterback. Michael and I play for the Roughsboro Tigers. Our team was winless last year, by losing sixteen consecutive games. It was mostly because of my poor performance. I threw.....
