Governments throughout history have had different ways of ruling their citizens. Many governments were influenced by others. Some governments added to ideas of others. The viewpoints societies have of the governments that rule them at the time has changed throughout history. Societies at different time periods act different towards their government sometimes they are passive other times very rebellous.
