"The play of the diary of Anne Frank" is a moving dramatical work by F. Goodrich and A. Hackett. In order to show how effectively Anne's character is brought to life for the reader it is necessary to examine many aspects of her character in some detail such as her imagination, lively and spirited nature, love, compassion, ambition and courage. The drama tells how Anne Frank, her family, the Van Daans and another gentleman, Mr Dussel, survived the hardships of living in a secret attic hidden from the Nazis for over two years. Life in the attic is nearly unbearable for Anne, a high-spirited teenager, who is still discovering who she really is herself. The play highlights the quarrels and the fun, the despair and the optimism of three families staying in a confined space until.....
